The franchising industry is exciting and expansive, covering everything from doggy day care to fast food to the vital provision of care for elderly people. As a Radfield Home Care franchisee, you could make a real difference to the quality of life of older people. But does Radfield Home Care franchise in the UK?
Radfield Home Care has been growing since the 80s to become the thriving company that it is today. In all this time, Radfield’s commitment to the provision of quality service to those in need hasn’t wavered.
Does Radfield Home Care franchise?
Yes, Radfield Home Care has been franchising in the UK since 2016. The franchisor team would be delighted to welcome new recruits from Radfield Home Care’s national office, located in Shrewsbury, Shropshire.
History of Radfield Home Care
The Radfield brand came into being in 1982, but in 2016, the successful care provider began to franchise. Dr Hannah MacKechnie and Alex Green, who both have a wealth of experience in the care sector, launched a new stage of the business, responding to the desire they saw in old people to be cared for and looked after within the comfort of their own homes.
Radfield Home Care has become one of the UK’s most established private healthcare organisations, and after 35 years of exceptional care provision to older people, the growing, family-owned company has been recognised by one of the world’s biggest ethical accreditations, B-Corporation. Radfield also proudly pioneers the use of technology in its work, implementing remotely accessible cloud-based care management software.
In the UK, in 2021, we have an aging population. And the average median age of local authorities in the UK is projected to increase between 2018 and 2043 [Office for National Statistics]. Given this, and multiple other factors, it’s not surprising that publicly funded care services are limited, and stretched to capacity. Demand for compassionate care services continues to grow, and the public care system doesn’t seem to have the capacity to keep up. That’s where companies like Radfield Home Care come in, supplementing the system so that everyone can get the help they need.

Starting a Radfield Home Care franchise unit
I knew as soon as I met the team from Radfield Home Care at the NEC Franchise show that it was the franchise for me. I was taken by their core values - we are family, we are on your side and we are proud to care. These really resonated with me and I knew these represented the passion and ethos I wanted for my clients, my staff team and my business.
