About Caremark
Franchise

There has never been a better time to invest in a Caremark franchise, our franchisees have recently experienced record growth due to a growing in-home care market, resilient business model and unrivalled training and support, even during the economic turbulence of Brexit and the current pandemic.

Who We Are

Caremark is proud to be a wholly UK-owned and operated in-home care franchisor with an established and successful UK-based network working to a highly resilient business model designed for growth.

Our franchisees come from a variety of backgrounds, some with extensive business experience, but all with excellent business acumen. Whatever your level of knowledge, we will work in partnership to give you a solid foundation in the care sector as well as our business model.

You as a Caremark franchisee would be supported by our highly experienced Head Office and Regional Support Team and that’s after a comprehensive ten-day in-house training programme.

The demand for quality home care in the UK is constantly on the rise due to the ageing population. Since 2005 Caremark has built up a reputation for excellence and the company has remained the leading UK provider of in-home care services.

Our proven in-home care business formula works because it provides people of all ages with the option to receive excellent care at home in a form tailored to their needs. Our specialised care services delivered by qualified and experienced carers also helps alleviate pressure on limited NHS resources. Most importantly, people benefit from being looked after at home, where they want to be. The care and support they receive enables them to enjoy independent, fuller, happier lives.

The Caremark franchise fee is £39,750 + VAT, plus working capital with a minimum personal investment of £36,000. Caremark has a strong relationship with major banks, who will consider lending 70% of your first year’s running costs, subject to a satisfactory business plan.

You will receive a comprehensive package when you buy a Caremark franchise. This includes the ten-day training programme, business planning, marketing tools, rostering and payroll software and much more! Chiefly, you have your own exclusive territory in which to trade as well as a licence to use the Caremark brand which gives instant credibility as a highly respected care service provider.

Five reasons why buying a Caremark franchise could be the right choice for you:

1.       Our team provides comprehensive in-house training and ongoing support.

2.       We have one of the lowest management fees in the sector.

3.       Award-winning training of the proven Caremark formula and systems.

4.       Great opportunities from multiple income streams.

5.       Increasing demand for high quality, bespoke in-home care.

At Caremark, we want to make it as easy as possible for our new franchisees to set up their business and get going. To facilitate this, we have developed a start-up plan that each new franchisee undertakes to ensure they are prepared and ready to run their new business.

Training and support provided

New franchisees are not required to have a background in care as full training and ongoing support is provided. Many Caremark franchisees come from different paths of life and are often new to the care industry, but all share the same drive for delivering excellent care and growing a prosperous business. Their main skillset are general management skills, a strong sense of responsibility for others and the commitment to setting up and maintaining high standards are all attributes that a potential Caremark franchisee should have.

Both essential training and outstanding ongoing support are provided and the growth of each business is encouraged with the lowest management fees in the sector. Provided both by the Head Office team and a field support team, franchisee support includes, but is not limited to, business development, training and regulations, IT, PR, marketing, and general support. Caremark also developed a unique and constantly reviewed e-learning model for home care staff, providing them with initial and ongoing training.

Caremark's history

It all began in 1987, when Caremark CEO Kevin Lewis set up a rest home in Brighton. The success of this business led to social services inviting him to diversify into the provision of home care in 1993. Rapid growth followed and the business soon became a major provider in the area.

Kevin Lewis set up the Caremark brand in 2005 and the business draws extensively upon the care industry knowledge he has gained over a period of more than 30 years.
