About Hub Care Support
Franchise
Hub care Support’s pioneering business model is turning the way we think about care on its head, empowering you to run an ethical and rewarding business which can really make a difference.
Established in 2012, Hub Care Support was created in response to the growing crisis in the UK care market. It was founded on the idea that another way of delivering quality care is not only possible, but desperately needed by care managers, carers, and service users alike.
What sets us apart is that we are not a care agency! The quality of care service users receive will always be of utmost importance, but it is carers who are at the heart of what we do. We support our carers in becoming self-employed Personal Assistants (PAs) so they have control over the hours they work and who they work with, earn the hourly rate they deserve, and are able to deliver the care they know their service users need.
Instead of providing service users with a bank of carers that is always changing, we carefully listen to their needs and match them with a choice of PAs who most suit their requirements. This PA then remains a consistent presence in their lives and can offer them a variety of services from personal and domestic care, through to social support and companionship.
For service users, this means they can be sure of always seeing the same person, and enjoy the kind of meaning relationship and personal contact which has been proven to be so essential to their physical and mental health.
For PAs, it means no more zero-hour contracts, better working conditions and pay, and the respect and empowerment they need and deserve to deliver the best quality of care.
As a business owner, you can forget long hours and the difficulties recruiting and retaining staff that usually come with running your own care company. Instead, you can enjoy a pioneering business model that is backed up by tried and tested recruitment and admin systems, and is designed around your success.

“Hub Care Support really are pioneering a different kind of care. I couldn’t have done this on my own. It’s one the biggest reasons I decided to choose Hub Care Support.” – Bukky, Milton Keynes & Beds.
The ideal Hub Care Support franchisee
You don’t need any experience of care to benefit from everything a Hub Care Support franchise can offer you, but you do need to be someone who is caring, compassionate, and genuinely interested in making a difference in your local community. You should have good organisational skills, a willingness to learn our systems, and have the dedication necessary to build your own successful business.
Above all, we are looking for people who show they have both a business mind, and a community heart. Working closely with those in your community, as well as your PAs, is essential in starting and growing your business, so you need to be confident in interacting with people face-to-face.
We can teach you the skills needed to run a successful care company, but that devotion and desire to your community has to come from you.
With affordable investment, low overheads, and the promise of excellent returns on your investment, could a Hub Care Support be the opportunity you’ve been looking for?
The Investment
This home-based business has a lower total investment level than many premises-based opportunities with the total initial investment just over £25,000, including VAT, which includes the franchise fee, the home office set up and your working capital (although this can vary subject to individual circumstances and business plan). You will only need £10,000 in liquid capital to secure a Hub Care Support as there are a great number of third-party options available for the funding for a franchise like this with a proven business model and many years of successful trading. We are more than happy to discuss these options with you and give you any advice we can.
