Franchising details
Leaps and Bounds was conceived to fulfil demands from both pre-school settings and parents for a movement and physical development programme. It underpins the framework of the Early Years Foundation Stage in England and Curriculum for Excellence in Scotland. It offers a progressive physical movement programme for children from walking to School Age. It is designed to complement the indoor and outdoor physical activities currently provided in Pre-School setting. Using colourful equipment, children are encouraged through a sequence of tasks to develop skills such as locomotion, agility, balance, climbing, coordination and language development using action songs and rhymes. The programme is divided into 3 age groups namely walking, 2-3 years, and school age. It is specifically designed to suit the skill level of the children within their particular group. In 2006, we were awarded a Kite Mark by the Professional Development Board of Physical Education.
