If you are longing for a hug in a mug, Starbucks is now serving its pumpkin spice latte but if you are longing for a richer, fuller treat, there is the pumpkin cheesecake Frappuccino. Bear in mind, the Frappuccino is Starbuck’s secret item, so you won’t find it on the menu. You will have to lean in and whisper your order exactly to your specifications.
Delish recommends a crème-based Pumpkin Spice Frappuccino with a dash of Cinnamon Dolce syrup, a scoop of vanilla bean powder and splash of white mocha sauce. If you keep tabs on calorie intake, you may consider a lighter version and order a vanilla bean Frappuccino with two sips of pumpkin sauce. Starbuck’s autumn secret flavour is parsimoniously sweet, creamy and surprisingly refreshing. But this is not the only secret pumpkin flavoured drink you can order at Starbucks. You can try a pumpkin chai latte with whipped cream, pumpkin spice and sea salt topping or an autumnal iced tea called ‘Teavana’, a shaken iced black tea with coconut milk instead of water, two pumps of pumpkin spice syrup, a splash of cinnamon dolce syrup and a dried orange slice and for hot chocolate lovers, there is a pumpkin spice hot chocolate.
Starbuck’s Pumpkin Spice Latte is a big hit among millennial women who brandish posts on Instagram savouring their PSL’s. In response to this craze, a countdown website has been created where the audience is asked questions like, “Is it pumpkin spice season?” but the screen responds “YASSS!” - just to keep the PSL craze juices flowing.
