Wing Kingz has big TV screens and a friendly, relaxed atmosphere; our customers can enjoy watching their favourite team, country or sports hero while tucking into a packed and varied menu. From tantalisingly tasty chicken wings to sensational burgers, fries, wraps and desserts, our food and beverage menu is the perfect companion to any night out – or in! Our fantastic food is also available for delivery through Just Eats, Uber Eats and Deliveroo.

The comprehensive Wing Kingz training programme has been designed to give you all the skills and knowledge you need to run your own successful business. The training includes information on all the ins-and-outs of the business operations, and how to bring the right attitude and customer service skills to your new restaurant.

Initial training takes part over 6 weeks; the first 2 weeks are based in a classroom environment at our head office. This is followed by 4 weeks in our flagship restaurant in Milton Keynes, where you, or your appointed manager, will gain invaluable skills and experience of the day-to-day operations of a Wing Kingz restaurant.

The Wing Kingz business model is designed to work for almost anyone so there is no single, ideal profile in our mind for the perfect Wing Kingz franchise partner. We have created a tried and tested opportunity which is open to anyone with the right attitude, ambition and skills.

Ideally, you should have some experience of the Food & Beverage industry, but this doesn’t have to be in managing your own outlet. Our comprehensive training and support will provide you with all the skills that you need, and you will be able to benefit from our extensive experience.

More than anything else we just want the right kind of people with the right attitude to join us.

We will be with you every step of the way to help you as little or as much as you need, you will have the freedom to work for yourself and on your terms, and can choose your preferred management style to run your food franchise:

• Franchise Owner-operator – take a hands-on approach and work right at the heart of your new business, leading your own team and providing a service directly to your customers.
• Franchise Manager – employ a team leader to handle the day-to-day running your restaurant while you focus on more strategic and operational matters, perhaps even as the start of a larger long-term plan, such as developing a multi-unit portfolio.

Your Investment

The initial fee to become a Wing Kingz franchisee is £25,000 (plus VAT) and this includes:

• The full franchise licence and right to trade under our brand
• Full training and ongoing support
• Your own exclusive territory with excellent growth potential
• Access to our preferred suppliers for food, alcohol, packaging, and branding etc.

The initial franchise agreement lasts for five years, which is renewable subject to certain criteria being met by the franchisee and in agreement with the franchisor.

There will be a number of other costs to consider:

• Leasing and setting up your site,
• Hiring or purchasing equipment, etc.

These costs will vary dependent on location, but we have prepared a detailed breakdown based on our current outlets which we are happy to discuss further with you.

You will also need to make sure you have a certain amount of working capital available to you to cover hiring staff, purchasing supplies and day-to-day costs while you build up your customer base in the local area.

All in all, we estimate the total capital required to open your own Wing Kingz restaurant to be £218,000 (exclusive of VAT) and we recommend you have a minimum liquid capital amount of £18,000. While Wing Kingz does not provide financing directly, there are a number of attractive options to help you with your franchise investment.

Wing Kingz spent more than six months developing their business model before they launched, collaborating with top chefs and recipe developers to perfect the branding and advertising. They also connected with well-known sporting stars to arrange personalised memorabilia, which are now showcased around their flagship Milton Keynes restaurant.
