Mommy Wellness is a South African brand that provides facials, massages and body rejuvenation treatments for people of all ages, but specialises in treatments for pregnant women. A total investment of R630,000 (£35,995) is required, and franchisees will benefit from wide-ranging support that includes guidance with site selection and staff recruitment and training.

While many spas offer massage treatments, the massage industry is huge in itself, with many specialist massage companies operating across the world. As one of the oldest forms of medical care, the massage is thought to have been used in Ancient Egypt, and provides relief from a wide variety of health problems including muscle pain, nausea, asthma, anxiety, insomnia, fatigue and a number of allergies.
