Wagamama's history

Wagamama started in 1992, when Alan Yau created his first Japanese restaurant in Bloomsbury, London. He risked the business when everyone thought that the sector wasn't worth investing in. His efforts reaped immediate success as his restaurant quickly gained popularity and a loyal customer base. By the year 2013, Wagamama celebrated the opening of its 100th restaurant in Hammersmith, London and as of 2016, we are present in 19 Western and Middle Eastern countries.
