The Alternative Board (TAB) is an exclusive membership-based organization that helps business leaders achieve more profitability, productivity, and personal fulfilment. We market our brand on a local level with support from our Head Office whilst focusing our marketing campaigns on the local business as well as the small and medium enterprises market. Our members include CEOs, presidents, and business owners who meet once a month to discuss ways on improving their business. Groups are composed of no more than 12 members whose businesses are not in competition with one another. Members turn to other members and their facilitator for advice on different aspects of their business, such as improving sales and performance. Our network of high-calibre professionals are respected leaders in their own business communities with a passion for sharing their knowledge and experience in order to help others succeed.
The market potential for a TAB franchisee is enough to provide them with a huge income. Our business model allows potential business partners to be flexible with the kind of business they want to build. By becoming a franchisee, you can have an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of members and their businesses. Potential franchisees will also have the chance to earn a good income along the way. The Alternative Board was founded by Allen E. Fishman in St. Louis, Missourri in 1990. He found that his Board of Directors was invaluable to him throughout his career but questioned the advice available to the small business owner. This led Fisherman to launch TAB’s first business advisory board in 1990.
