London Road in Leicester is soon to be home to a new Baskin-Robbins outlet.
This summer will see Leicester opening a brand-new Baskin-Robbins store where customers can cool down and indulge with a wide range of ice creams and desserts. The speciality ice cream shop is one of the largest in the world and is set to become a popular parlour for people across the Leicester area.
Customers will be able to choose from a tried-and-tested menu of ice creams and desserts, including sundaes, milkshakes, waffles, crepes and ice cream cakes – or simply a cone with scoops of their favourite flavours. There’s even the option of a fondue pudding, with 20 scoops of ice cream, brownie and vanilla sponge cubes and hot chocolate fudge sauce.
Baskin-Robbins has a diverse selection of ice creams to choose from, and customers can be as indulgent as they like with their order. For the health-conscious, there are no sugar added, reduced fat and churned light ice creams on offer, as well as low fat natural yogurt. Or for those looking for a treat, they can create their own milkshake or sundae topped with whipped cream, sauce and a stack of brownies, cookies or peanut butter.
When it comes to celebration time, there are a number of cakes on offer, including chocolate chunk cookie cake, rockslide brownie and the chance to create a made-to-order cheesecake. There’s also the option to take home tubs of ice cream so customers can create their own desserts from their favourite flavours.
This new store is expected to open in July or August, which is a key time of year for the ice cream parlour franchise. It will join more than 150 other Baskin-Robbins stores on the UK high street. Each day sees a new ice cream flavour join the offering under the trademarked ‘31’ name – standing for every day of the month.
