We have a franchise support department which will provide training for 6 days on how to run a Monkey Music franchise, personalised mentoring, daily support from our Franchise Support Manager, specialist support by the Monkey Music Head Office team, ongoing training, help with teacher recruitment and training and help from specialist consultant advisors who are experts on issues such as child protection, health and safety, and social media. Marketing Managers are there to guide you through the various advertising and marketing material available. You will have a personalised webpage and operate your own local Facebook page. Flyers, posters and adverts specifically designed for each franchise and guidance will be offered when you set up the business. A 1 day training in our Head Quarters is requires to train potential teachers. After completing all these, days will definitely be filled with fun and laughter.  

Monkey Business is looking for partners who are confident, articulate, and passionate with good interpersonal and communication skills. Having good leadership, self-motivated and organised. A person who has the passion for music and who loves to be around children will have a greater advantage but not really required. Investing in a Monkey Music franchise costs £12,975 + VAT but we also offer scholarships for specific circumstances. If you wish to become a franchise owner, it is recommended that you consider your local working capital requirements for the initial months of your business before any income is generated. We don’t offer finance packages but you can contact our bank and secure a personal loan.  

The idea of opening a musical class started in London during the year 1993 by founder Angie Coates. As a teacher and a musician, she knew that exposure to music will benefit the younger ones. Monkey Music was then opened for franchise in 1998. Now, with the rapid growth, it has 11,500 families attending the classes in more than 300 venues every week. We are one of the very first pre-school businesses to become a member of the British Franchise Association.
