Rachel Williams who owns Monkey Music East Sheen has been recognised as the franchise’s Newcomer of the Year at an annual award ceremony.
Monkey Music has just announced that Rachel Williams, owner of the East Sheen franchise, is its Newcomer of the Year having had a particular successful first year since opening its doors.
Rachel was presented with her award by the franchise’s CEO Angie Coates. She said of the recognition, “I’m delighted to receive this award! I love my work with Monkey Music – sharing the wonder of music with babies and toddlers is always a pleasure and I am truly passionate about the delivery, and value, of my classes.”
The judges commented that Rachel has shown exceptional dedication to the families that she teaches and has fully championed the benefits of learning and fun at such a young age.
Rachel has already enjoyed huge success with her business. More than 185 children now attend her classes held in East Sheen, Chiswick and Hammersmith. They provide an opportunity for parents to spend quality time with their babies and toddlers, while teaching them essential social skills. This award recognises her achievements, and will no doubt encourage her to continue progressing her business across the area.
Monkey Music was founded to provide families with the opportunity to spend time together through the wonders of music. The sessions are around 30 minutes long and the children can play with percussion instruments, listen to energetic songs and play with visual props. Together with their parents, they can interact with other children and their mums and dads, building vital social skills from a very early age. Children between three months and four years join the classes and workshops across the country.
The franchise has been championing educational play since 1993 with classes developed by musicians and child development experts. Today, more than 150 Monkey Music teachers play a positive part in their community and 12,000 families enjoy the classes each week.
