Avant MD Sally Graham started her first business in 1996 as a franchisee and quickly built up a highly successful multi-site operation covering nine territories. Sally sold her business to one of the UK’s top five home care companies in 2010 and then began work on her new venture.

Deepa Dungar, Avant’s operations director, has worked with Sally for the last decade, playing a major part in the success of the previous business.

Highly experienced care franchisor Mike Horgan joins Sally and Deepa in forming the senior team that are supporting franchisees to replicate Sally’s previous personal success.

The ideal Avant Healthcare franchisee

Who makes a great Avant franchisee?

Care sector experience is not required to succeed: we will help you recruit and retain an expert team of care support workers, led by a Registered Care Manager.

Your role focuses on developing your business and managing your team. You’ll need:

  • A passion for delivering excellent service
  • The desire to make a difference in your local community
  • Personal drive to build a successful multimillion-pound business
  • Experience overseeing large numbers of employees
  • The ability to raise circa £35K + VAT + working capital

Avant is recognised as a proven business model, which means lenders will offer up to 70% of your total investment, including working capital, subject to status.

In return, you should expect to reach £2m turnover from your first territory, with the scalable business model then allowing for strong growth without exponentially increasing overheads.
