Wiltshire Farm foods has announced that it will be one of the main sponsors of the Bristol and Bath Health & Care Awards 2018.

Frozen food provider, Wiltshire Farm Foods, will be lending its support to help celebrate the brightest and best in the health & care sector across the West Country.

The company is going to be one of the main sponsors of the Bristol and Bath Health & Care Awards 2018, sponsoring the ‘Outstanding Achievement’ award. The accolade aims to give praise to someone who has overcome obstacles to still provide quality care.

The awards, which have been an annual celebration since 2016, bring to light the unsung heroes who dedicate their lives to helping others across the Bristol and Bath area. People like Julie Broke, a physiotherapy assistant at Bath’s Royal United Hospital, have been nominated by their patients for their ability to always go the extra mile. One patient, Katherine, has said how Julie would often give up her lunch break to talk to her, which was especially appreciated after the unexpected death of Katherine’s partner.

Managing Director of Wiltshire Farm Foods, Adam Michallat-Cox, has said how pleased the company are to be sponsoring the awards.

“It is an honour to sponsor these awards. Given the nature of what we do here at Wiltshire Farm Foods, we work very closely with the health and care sectors. We, therefore, see first-hand the amazing work so many people do every day in this area; work which can often go under the radar. We place the people at the heart of what we do here, looking to bring joy to life through our food. These awards celebrate those that epitomise this ethos, those who go above and beyond to provide a service which makes a real difference.”

Wiltshire Farm Foods, which has been in business for over 25 years, has a huge menu of 300 delicious, high quality meals that are delivered to customers across the country every day.
