Dalry Road in Edinburgh is about to get a new Cash Generator as an experienced entrepreneur opens a new store.

Edinburgh will soon get a brand-new Cash Generator store as a budding entrepreneur has just opened another store on Dalry Road.

This is the second store that the owner, Ghulam Ahmed has opened in the area alongside his other store in Kirkaldy. Customers can visit his new store to exchange unwanted items for cash and find new items to buy.

Ahmed has just completed his full training in the franchisee recruitment programme. During his training, he learned everything he needs to know to successfully run his own store.

Cash Generator is a great opportunity for a business-minded individual like Ahmed. It gives him the flexibility to enjoy his own profits while benefiting from the support of the larger network and household name recognition to help draw customers.

Graeme McKinnon, Cash Generator’s Managing Director, commented on the appointment of Ahmed. He says, “Ghulam is a hugely ambitious entrepreneur and has chosen the right franchise in Cash Generator as we offer a unique opportunity to lovers of a great deal and represent a potentially high profit, long-term business opportunity”.

Ahmed said that he was thrilled to be part of the international franchise. He also explained that Cash Generator was the obvious choice for him because it boasts a recession-proof business model to helps foster long-term success.

Ahmed also recognises the hard work that becoming a franchisee demands. He said, “it will be a challenge to take on two stores but the franchise recruitment team at Cash Generator has a fantastic training programme in place, which has helped me to understand how the business works. There is always someone to offer help, support and advice whenever you need it.”

Cash Generator opened its first store in Bolton in 1994. It has over 700 stores around the world and 200 outlets in the UK. Two thirds of its stores are franchises.
