Bridgewater sees new Énergie Fitness gym open its doors to the public with ribbon cutting ceremony.
The gym, which is located in the Exchange Express Park, was officially opened with a short ceremony on 3rd January. Although it has been open since late December, the occasion was marked with music and balloons, while visitors enjoyed finger food before the official cutting of the ribbon.
Although the gym is the second to be introduced to Bridgewater in recent weeks, after a new Puregym opened on The Clink, Énergie Fitness boasts modern features designed to improve motivation and positively impact gymgoers’ workouts.
While Énergie Fitness offers typical features such as treadmills, step and rowing machines, a spinning zone and a weights area, its use of MyZone technology generates information about users’ workout, measuring heart rate and calorie count to improve performance. Those using cardio equipment can even use social media and catch up on their favourite programmes with the use of in-built applications like Facebook and Netflix.
All of this works towards the “vibrant atmosphere and empowering space” promoted by the gym franchise, helping users achieve their goals. Fitness classes are limited to eight to ten people and take place in the gym’s unique space named The Yard, enabling trainers to build a relationship with gym members and adapt classes to individual strengths. “This helps build confidence” says Danielle Addicott, General Manager of Énergie Fitness.
Énergie Fitness also prides itself on its friendly and relaxed mood, hiring a dedicated member of staff to greet visitors as they enter the gym, enabling them to feel at ease and ask any questions they may have.
“We have been really pleased with the take up so far,” Addicott explained, “lots of people have commented on how the gym has friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere.”
