The ideal Fireaway Pizza franchisee

Franchising is an incredible entrepreneurial opportunity, but that doesn’t mean it’s the right fit for everyone.

In other words, a person who has all the attributes and abilities for a successful career in a franchisor. Being an excellent franchisee can translate into showing an unwavering loyalty towards our brand, hard work, having proper funds, being able to communicate well and having the ability to be versatile.

Running a franchise takes hard work and commitment. The perfect applicant shows that they’re capable of dedicating enough effort and resources to help our business flourish.

Another key determinant is financial stability. Starting a franchise can cost a lot of money. It’s ideal if the owner has enough start-up capital or access to funding so they can pay startup expenses and get through the periods that might not be immediately profitable until they are more established.

Fireaway Pizza's history

Fireaway began when I, Mario Aleppo, became inspired by my Italian heritage, inherited a treasured pizza recipe from my Nonna.

Determined to share the authentic flavours of Italy with the world, I opened the first Fireaway Pizza store in 2016. This was the humble inception of what would soon become a sensation in the UK's dining scene.

The rapid success of the initial store marked the dawn of a promising venture. As word spread and the demand for Fireaway Pizza soared, Hamza, the owner of the second store in Streatham, recognized the opportunity to turn this burgeoning success into a franchise. He approached me with the idea of expansion, and together, we embarked on a journey of growth and entrepreneurship.

Since that pivotal moment, Fireaway Pizza has experienced remarkable growth, expanding its footprint across the UK. The franchise model allowed passionate individuals to join the Fireaway family and bring the flavours of Italy to our local communities. Today, Fireaway Pizza continues to grow, guided by its commitment to quality, tradition, and the entrepreneurial spirit that drove me to share love of pizza with the world. It is a story that reminds me that great food and a dash of innovation can create a recipe for success, both in taste and business.
