Pizza franchise, Fireaway, opens another restaurant in Thornton Heath, Croydon.

Fireaway may be less than three years old, but it is already putting down strong routes in the UK capital. It is soon to open its third restaurant in South London, in Thornton Heath, Croydon. It will join its Streatham and Sutton outlets, serving made-to-order, authentic pizza.

This new restaurant will be the first to have dine-in space and, depending on whether the licensing is granted, it will be able to sell alcohol until 11pm each night. Both the Streatham and Sutton franchises are mainly takeaway and delivery outlets, and this new restaurant signals a new experience and offering for Fireaway’s customers and potential franchisees.

Owned by Mario Aleppo, Fireaway brings real, authentic Naples pizza to South London. The outlets have a Subway-style format, where customers can choose from 25 toppings, four bases and four cheeses. The team then make the pizza, cook them in the fire oven and return them back to the customer within just 180 seconds. It transforms the world of takeaway pizza, bringing the speed customers want along with the rich flavours of fresh ingredients and age-old recipes. Aleppo explained that the recipes he uses are from his grandmothers’ hometown in Naples. It’s also rare that a pizza takeaway restaurant gives customers the experience of seeing its food being made in a real fired pizza oven.

The latest Fireaway outlet is set to open in less than two weeks on Brigstock Road. It takes the place of Brigstock Café.

Fireaway is championing good fast food that’s delicious and tailored to suit each and every customer. It is encouraging more budding business owners to join the franchise, opening their own Fireaway store for a small fee each month. In return they will get all the training and on-going support they need from Fireaway. That includes getting their restaurant fitted out with all the equipment and design features the restaurants need to have the distinctive Fireaway branding. This refurbishment can all take place within as little as four weeks.
