What do we do?

Every day we create hand-rolled, freshly baked pretzels that we sell to thousands of our loyal customers. We offer a diverse range of pretzels variations and we constantly innovate new twists to the classic pretzel, without sacrificing its key elements. In the UK we have recently launched a breakfast bun range and are working on a pretzel sandwich concept. Auntie Anne's doesn't just sell pretzels, we sell happiness; as nothing compares to seeing the look on your customer's face when they get a bite of that freshly baked product, made with love.

Is it for me?

Whether you're an individual or partners looking for new opportunities, a corporation seeking to raise their income exponentially, Auntie Anne's has a place for you! We are looking for franchisees passionate about customer service and the food industry (particularly baking!).

The total investment for the operation of an Auntie Anne's store is around £145,000 – £180,000. However, we can put you in touch a finance specific broker who may be able to help you raise finance, potentially leaving you with around £40,000 to £80,000 of personal investment.

Overall, we are looking for people willing to commit to running their store to our high standards, are very passionate about customer service and retail, care about their employees and the brand and have the ambition to drive sales and potentially open more stores in the future.

Auntie Anne's' history

Auntie Anne's pretzel franchise

The beginning

When Anne Beiler baked her first pretzels in a Pennsylvania farmer’s market, she wanted to create a great product and provide people with an amazing experience. After some experimentation, “Auntie” Anne created a masterpiece. Customers kept coming back and asking for “the best pretzel they had ever tasted”.

Continuous growth

People wanted more. They asked for the secret recipe so they could have soft, delicious pretzels and drinks wherever they were. As a response, Anne and her husband looked for new ways to expand and bring the taste of Auntie Anne’s to the world.

Since then, the business has grown fast through franchising and more significantly since it was acquired by Atlanta franchisor FOCUS Brands in 2010.
