Auntie Anne’s and Cinnabon have excited fans in Lynchburg, Virginia, by announcing the launch of new branches.
The sites will be situated in the River Ridge Mall, which has been a popular spot for shoppers since 1980. The announcement came on Wednesday 3rd March, and fans of the brands will have to wait until the summer to get their hands on the two franchises’ range of sweet treats.
Amit Sehgal from Impeccable Brands, which owns and runs the River Ridge Mall shopping complex, revealed the enthusiasm of everyone welcoming the two stores.
“We are delighted to bring these iconic treats to River Ridge. It is exciting to add to the redevelopment of a local community destination and become a part of the River Ridge family.”
The River Ridge Mall has seen significant change over the past couple of years, as an ongoing redevelopment project has been in progress since 2019. The takeaway franchises will become the newest additions to the evolving shopping complex.
River Ridge Mall’s General Manager Louise Dudley revealed she is excited to welcome the two new brands as part of the continuing redevelopment scheme:
“We are thrilled to have the opportunity to bring such well-known and loved businesses to River Ridge. Auntie Anne’s and Cinnabon will make wonderful additions to the property, especially as we continue to progress on our Food Hall.”
Auntie Anne’s is an internationally recognised pretzel chain, selling a wide range of dough-based treats, from classic, sugar-dusted delights to more unusual creations, such as pretzel ‘nuggets’ and ‘dogs’. Cinnabon also has a global chain of bakery stores and kiosks. It sells a tempting menu of cinnamon rolls and other tasty products, including Churro Swirls.
