About One Stop
Franchise

For over two decades, One Stop has been living up to its name, always bringing convenience to our loyal customers in more than 780 stores throughout England and Wales. We are open from 6am to 11pm offering services to local communities with various products ranging from bread, chilled goods, ice cream, pastries, confectionery and drinks. More than that, our stores also offer products for household, pets, babies and health and beauty. Retail business is our expertise and though part of the larger Tesco group, we operate autonomously with our own supply chain and distribution network.

A One Stop franchise offers more than just convenience to franchisees. To start, it delivers a competitive margin from 18-25% which depends on the store's mix. We also offer four weekly promotional cycle which makes it easier for franchisees to manage in-store as well as providing customers ample time to know the best available deals. As a franchisee of a well-known and trusted brand, you will also have the benefit of personalising your own store on top of the general designs of a One Stop outlet. This means that you retain your local identity while being connected with us. On average, weekly turnover of one outlet is up to £12,000 excluding services which means a stable income is expected once your own franchise is established.

Training and support provided

We acknowledge the expertise of our franchisees as having experience in the retail business. However, we provide a 13-week training in order for you to successfully re-brand your outlet. Moreover, after the installation of EpoS, franchisees will also be trained for five more days focusing on using the One Stop system. For a thorough and easy business operation, a Business Development Manager will be appointed and franchisees will be given access to our extensive operations manual.

The ideal One Stop franchisee

We are looking for people who wants to share this success with us. If you are business-minded, success-driven and goal-oriented, then this is the right franchise for you. However, we are more likely to accept the application with those who has existing convenience outlet or post office, with a weekly turnover that exceeds £10,000 and a store size of roughly 90 sqm up to 230 sqm. The initial investment is also made easy, as you can pay it on a weekly, monthly or a 5-year basis with a maximum cost. You only need to pay for the essentials costs, line rental as well as the broadband installation to start your own One Stop outlet.

One Stop's history

One Stop's national success started when Tesco acquired the company in 2003. After a decade of operating the brand, One Stop decided to open for franchise and an official scheme was launched in January 2014. Today, we are operating in England and Wales serving our loyal customers their immediate product needs.
