Training and support provided

Teaching The Convenience

As part of the Bargain Booze network of franchisees, you can expect to get the full support of the company. We will provide you the training at our headquarters in Crewe as well as in your store. In addition, you will get your own EPOS system. We will also help out in merchandising and marketing. We will give you a computer backup as well as offer legal advice. We are an Associate member of the British Finance Association so you can look forward to getting the best training from one of the most successful concepts in the off-trade market.

Sharing The Convenience

There are certain qualities that we are looking for in a Bargain Booze franchisee. To be the right candidate, you need to have a suitable shop premise. You need to have the required skills to obtain your Personal License and you should undergo a CRB background check. To become a franchisee, you will need to make an initial investment of £10,000. The total cost of the package ranges between £25,000 - £100,000 + VAT depending on your location. Don’t worry if you do not have the funds for starting your franchise. Financial assistance is available from NatWest and RBS.

Bargain Booze is part of the Conviviality Retail chain of convenience stores. It was founded by Allan Whittle & Robert Mayor in 1981. The Bargain Booze franchise first opened in 1988. With around 700 stores in the UK, we are the largest off-license chain in the United Kingdom.
