Veeno opens its doors in Kidderminster
Wine bar Veeno celebrates a new riverside opening in Kidderminster.
Italian wine bar and café, Veeno, has opened a new site in Kidderminster. Situated in the new £3million Riverside development, which overlooks the picturesque River Stour, it will open on the 22nd of June.
It’s the 19th opening for the Italian chain, which aims to bring the Italian tradition of ‘Aperitivo’ (a ritual of drinking and relaxing after work with some light bites to eat) to everyone. It already has popular locations in London, Brighton and Manchester, where its founders met and connected over their love of great wine and delicious food.
The owners of the new site have put around £200,000 into the branch to ensure it’s up to Veeno’s standards and the opening has created 10 new jobs for local people.
Co-Founder of the bar franchise, Nino Caruso, expressed his excitement at the new opening.
“I cannot wait to open the doors to Veeno Kidderminster. When we saw Riverside, we knew it was the perfect place to bring our little piece of Italy. Our focus is creating an Aperitif-centred location for relaxation, serving up high quality food and the finest Sicilian wines around. We want people from all walks of life to come and enjoy lunch and dinner throughout the week, so whether you’re grabbing a quick lunch at work or having a big night out at the weekend, Veeno is the place to be.”
Veeno will serve wines from Caruso & Minini, the Sicilian vineyard owned by Nino’s family that had it’s first vines planted in the 19th century. There will also be a range of spirits and craft beers, so that whatever your taste there’s bound to be the right drink for you.
Its menu includes lots of appetisers and snacks in its ‘Sputini’ selection, as well as sharing boards of cheese and meats imported directly from Italy to ensure the most authentic taste.
Founded in 2013, Veeno aims to bring a little taste of Italy to all of its locations and welcome guests to feel part of their family too.
