Tubz franchisees Peter and Caroline have revealed how they set up their successful business with the vending machine franchise.

Peter and Caroline were impressed with Tubz’s business model from the very start. They first visited the company’s headquarters in December 2019, when Paul, Tubz’s New Business Manager, gave them a tour of the Sittingbourne premises. They got to see the Tubz sweet production line, as well as dispatch, sales and new production development processes.

It didn’t take long for the pair to decide to invest in a bundle of Tubz towers to get their Buckinghamshire business off to a great start. The vending machine franchise then sent everything they needed to their family home within 24 hours. They said:

“The Tubz towers are extremely well made. Most importantly, though, the Tubz sweets are of very high quality, they taste great!”

Peter and Caroline were able to rely on plenty of support from the Tubz franchise team.

“Our Tubz towers were sited very efficiently by our Business Manager and the telesales team. Any questions we had were dealt with immediately by our Business Manager, giving us the confidence we needed to get the business up and running.”

They continued:

“With Tubz, there is no monthly fee or ongoing costs, Tubz provide extensive training and ongoing support. This is a real bonus to rookies like us!”

The couple explained how they were able to maximise their sales as they built the business:

“We have established good relationships with our customers, with towers in hair salons, care homes, department stores and family pubs. We try to pick the best mix of Tubz sweets to meet their requirements.”

Peter and Caroline’s hard work has paid off, as their sales are higher than expected, despite having been in the business for less than three months. Overall, the new franchisees would recommend the franchise to other aspiring entrepreneurs:

“We found the business exciting and rewarding, especially when a percentage of the sales goes to worthwhile charities.”
