Tubz Vending has raised an incredible £450,000 for Starlight Children’s Foundation over the course of its partnership with the charity.
Vending machine franchise Tubz Vending has shown that it’s a franchise with a big heart due to its tireless fundraising efforts over the last decade. It has managed to raise an incredible £450,000 for the Starlight Children’s Foundation, which helps to brighten the lives of seriously ill children with its wish granting and hospital entertainment services.
Tubz donates a minimum of 10p from every sale its franchisees make to the charity and, considering it has a network of nearly 300 franchisees, it’s managed to raise lots of money over the years just from this small commitment. However, the franchise’s commitment to charitable causes doesn’t stop there. It also attends Starlight’s annual summer picnic, with trusty mascot Mr Tubz in tow, to give out sweets and toys to the children who attend. The friendly mascot also gets involved in games and activities with all of the families to make sure everyone has a fantastic time.
As well as raising money for Starlight, Tubz Vending has also managed to raise more than £42,000 for Help for Heroes. The incredibly worthy cause supports soldiers who have been injured or fall ill following a period in the armed forces in a number of ways. It also ensures that they are supported for life, rather than just for a small period of time after their discharge. Tubz specially designed ‘Help for Heroes’ vending machines put at least 10p from every sale to help the charity continue its fantastic work.
