Shoryu Ramen teams up to sow its seeds
Shoryu Ramen has announced it’s teamed up with Seeds Consulting for a franchise programme partnership that will help the Japanese brand grow internationally.
The unique Japanese restaurant franchise serves up delicious bowls of Hakata tonkotsu ramen inspired by founder Tak Tokumine’s favourite dishes from home. Now, it’s teamed up with expansion experts Seeds Consulting to help it source a network of skilled new franchisees to bring a taste of Japan to new audiences.
Speaking about the partnership, Matteo Frigeri, Seeds Consulting’s Director, said:
“We are delighted that Shoryu Ramen has chosen Seeds Consulting to take [its] successful brand into other markets within the UK and internationally. Shoryu is the most authentic ramen concept we have in the UK and it is loved by consumers and landlords alike: since its inception in 2012, its performance has consistently outpaced the rest of the industry. Its operation is half the size of an average casual dining restaurant and, with reduced labour costs as a result, […] presents a very exciting prospect to franchisees."
Founder of Shoryu Ramen, Tak Tokumine, echoed Frigeri’s excitement, revealing:
“We see franchising as the ultimate way to expand Shoryu and deliver our authentic Hakata cuisine around the globe. We are thrilled to be working with Seeds Consulting, experts in the restaurant franchise sector, to help support our national and international expansion.”
Shoryu Ramen is looking for partners who are looking operate single or multi-unit franchise operations right now. You’ll need to be an existing retailer, preferably in the travel retail or food retail industry. However, the backing of Japan Centre Group means that Shoryu has plenty of funds to offer excellent training, assistance and financial support to all of its new franchisees.
