Recognition Express is calling for creative kids all across the UK to submit their entries for its annual Road Safety Week.

Recognition Express is looking for the most artistic children in the UK to submit their best artwork for this year’s Road Safety Week.

The annual awareness week is hosted by the b2b franchise in conjunction with Brake, the national road safety charity and aims to raise awareness of the dangers that pedestrians and cyclists face on the roads every day. 2019’s week, which takes place between the 18th and 24th of November, will be the 11th annual year the event has taken place. Recognition Express is now on the lookout for a banner that encompasses the ‘Step Up for Safe Streets’ theme and is asking primary school children across the UK to enter their best designs.

The lucky winners will receive a special award for their creativity and will have a massive banner printed to proudly display outside their schools. What’s more, each of their classmates will get a high-vis deflector that can be attached to their schoolbag to keep them safe.

Director of Recognition Express South Buckinghamshire, Andy Lian, said:

“Road Safety Week aims to inspire thousands of schools, organisations and communities to take action and promote road safety awareness during the week and beyond and it is a privilege to be involved. Our competition is a fantastic opportunity to engage primary school children and help establish good road safety sense for years to come. Over the years we have been blown away by the creative ideas primary school children in Buckinghamshire come up with to get life-saving messages across and look forward to seeing more compelling designs again this year.”

Children have until the 11th of October to get their entries in, so now’s the time to get designing to be in with a shot at the prizes.
