Driver Hire has added another major franchise industry accolade to its trophy cabinet – the ‘HSBC Elite Franchise Franchisor of the Year Award’. Graham Duckworth, Driver Hire’s Franchise Sales Director, and colleagues, collected the award at a celebratory awards and gala evening at the Tower Hotel in the City of London.

Judged by a panel of franchise industry experts, winners must show outstanding support for franchisees, excellent market positioning, and high-level growth predictions for the financial year ahead. Entrants were also assessed on their business strategy for overcoming current economic headwinds and any lingering effects of the pandemic.

Presenting the award, Scott English, Elite Franchise’s Brand Director, said: “Every year the awards become more competitive. From hundreds of entries, the awards showcase franchisors who continue to provide exemplary services or products alongside substantial support for their franchise network. Driver Hire truly impressed us with their innovative ideas and positive mindsets.”

Graham Duckworth added: “This award crowns a fantastic Driver Hire year for awards and  trading. We were the Silver Winner in the bfa ‘HSBC Franchisor of the Year’ awards and have just completed a record trading year. It’s further confirmation of the excellence of our business model, the strength of the Driver Hire brand – and the outstanding reputation we have as an ethical franchise.”

Celebrating 40 years as a franchise business, Driver Hire’s 100 office, nationwide network, provides temporary and permanent drivers and other logistics staff to local and national organisations in both the public and private sector. If they’re short of staff – perhaps because of illness, holidays or seasonal demand – Driver Hire will supply them with a suitable replacement.
