Autoglym released a parody video for this year’s April Fools that made a joke out of over-the-top car care.

In recent years, more and more companies have been getting on the April Fool’s bandwagon to try and go viral on social media. Nowadays you have got to be more on your toes than ever on April 1st to make sure that you’re not being sold fake news.

This year, car franchise Autoglym released a jokey video that poked fun at over-zealous car washing enthusiasts. The video promotes a ‘multi-bucket wash technique’ which, before long, ends up in pure chaos as a ridiculous amount of buckets are introduced.

By the end of the video, the host is tripping over a set of forty different buckets that are being used to wash just one car. The social media ‘rinse’ has accumulated over 12,000 views on Twitter and over a hundred likes.

Autoglym is a care franchise that provides valeting products for professional and casual markets. In 2017, Autoglym was given an Honest John Award for Best Exterior Car Product, showing that it is leading the industry when it comes to quality.

If you share respect for a job well done and have a knowledge of car parts, accessories and equipment, you fit the bill for the ideal Autoglym franchisee. To become a franchise owner minimum investment begins at £50,000.

In return, you will take part in professional training programme that covers all aspects of business, including product inventory, sales, marketing, customer support, service orientation and IT systems. All initial training takes place at Autoglym Head Office, and extra training in the car-care market can be offered if required.
