Aspray is celebrating the incredible achievements of its director, Andrea Loasby, who has been shortlisted for three awards at the Women in Insurance Awards 2020.
She is up for the title in the categories of Claims Professional of the Year, Unsung Hero and Marketer of the Year, becoming just one of a handful of women to make the shortlist out of more than 700 nominees. The nominations are the latest cause for celebrations within the management franchise, as it currently has a network of thriving franchisees who are building an excellent career in the world of loss assessment.
The Women in Insurance Awards was set up to recognise the contributions of women in the sector. They aim to celebrate women who always go above and beyond, or who inspire others to help change the insurance world for the better. Many of the women within the Aspray network fit the bill, but Andrea’s high profile position allows her to show other ladies what it’s possible to achieve.
And while Andrea is thrilled to have been recognised for her work, she’s also hoping to use her success to inspire other women to emulate it by joining the franchise. She commented:
“Whilst I am delighted to be nominated for three awards in the Women in Insurance Awards 2020, I hope that this will enable me to raise awareness of the role that other women play within our loss assessing network, so we can attract even more brilliant minds and individuals.”
Andrea also explained why she believes women are so well-suited to a business that handles insurance claims.
“Women typically have some natural abilities and soft skills that are an important part of being a loss assessor. I hope I can use the awards success to attract more women who also wish to follow a rewarding career, own their own business in conjunction with a brand and a franchisor that has earned both trust and respect, and work in the property world.”
