Acacia Homecare North West Surrey, the flagship office for Acacia Homecare Franchise, received a High Commendation for The Care Employer at the Great British Care Awards which took place on Friday 18th November 2022. This is a great achievement for Acacia Homecare as the heart of the business is based on its care team and recruitment and retention are a major priority for them. They have in place many rewards schemes and have instilled an ethos of a caring culture within the organisation as well as externally. They put their staff at the forefront, understanding their needs and providing them with support and encouragement in their professional and personal lives.
As well as the commendation, Acacia Homecare NW Surrey also became finalists for the categories of The Three R’s (Recruitment, Retention and Rewards) Award, The Registered Home Care Manager Award and the Home Care Worker Award. It was attended by the category finalists and it was a great way to celebrate becoming finalists for those categories and recognizing the organisation’s people.
In addition to the Great British Care Awards, Acacia Homecare also attended the local Spelthorne Business Awards the night before to becoming finalists for the award category of Best Business in Sunbury on Thames and Halliford Village for the second year running.
This year has been a whirlwind of a year for Acacia Homecare, celebrating 10 years and being recognized for different achievements in the business and care sectors.
