The booming oven cleaning business, formed in 2013, has joined the Point Franchise Network.

The story of Prestige Oven Cleaning begins when, after 23 years of working in manufacturing, founder Darren was made redundant. At 43 years old, he was reluctant to enter into another job which posed the same risk, so he decided to take charge and set up his own business. Darren set up an environmentally friendly cleaning company, and dedicated himself to producing high-quality results without the earth-harming chemicals that some professional cleaners use.

That was back in 2013, and since then the cleaning franchise has grown substantially, and is now looking to expand even further. At one time, Darren was cleaning just two to three ovens but he now has over 450 clients in his local area, and sees the clear potential for further growth. Running his own business has proved extremely successful, and has also provided Darren with a better work-life balance.

When asked about his business, Darren said,

“If I am honest, one of the best things for me as an oven cleaner is the amazement on the customer’s face once the clean is completed, it is hugely satisfying. The flexible working hours allow for me to balance my time around my family’s needs, I can collect my son from school and I never miss watching him play in a football match.”

To enjoy the same varied and exciting career as Darren, you can become a Prestige Oven Cleaning franchisee. The minimum investment required for franchisees is £11,500, with total initial investment costs reaching £15,000. Additionally, franchisees will pay £220 monthly in royalty fees, and £50 monthly for advertising fees and support. After two years, franchisees can expect to see a revenue of £80,000.

All new franchisees will be provided with training and support to get them up to speed, and while Darren doesn’t expect any franchisee to have specific qualifications/experiences, his ideal franchisee would be:

  • Passionate and self-motivated

  • Hard-working and ambitious

  • Determined and business savvy

  • Able to follow an existing and working system

  • Good with people and proud of the Prestige Oven Cleaning brand
