The business coaching franchise is confident that those who actively engage with the questions and answer each one will be well on their way to success.

Go M.A.D. Thinking was first established in 1997 by Andy Gilbert, and the business coaching franchise has over 25 years of business improvement consultancy experience. Recently, Go M.A.D. Thinking generously shared the following 20 questions - questions which the franchise is confident will help anyone to achieve success, regardless of their individual goals. In Go M.A.D.’s words, “By answering the questions below, you will be able to create a plan and most importantly make it happen.” The questions are “based on Go MAD® Results Framework”, and are as follows:

  1. “What specifically do you want to achieve and by when?”
  2. “How exactly will you measure the difference when you have made it?”
  3. “What is your defined goal in a single sentence?”
  4. “How strong is your reason for wanting to achieve this in comparison with other things happening in your life?”
  5. “How achievable (1 low- 10 high) do you believe this goal to be?”
  6. “What possible tasks could help you achieve your goal?”
  7. “What reasons might there be to involve others?”
  8. “Who could you possibly involve?”
  9. “How could you possibly communicate your goal to others?”
  10. “How might you possibly get buy-in from others?”
  11. “What possible obstacles might you encounter?”
  12. “What possible risks or implications might be useful to consider?”
  13. “How could you possibly overcome any obstacles and minimise any possible risks?”
  14. “What possible assumptions or self-imposed limitations might get in the way of achieving your goal?”
