The bookkeeping and accounting franchise has been able to further expand its support of franchisees, adding specialist BPP courses on topics like “Financial Analysis” to its range offerings.

TaxAssist Accountants has already been supporting its network of franchisees in a number of different ways. The bookkeeping and accounting franchise keeps everyone up-to-date on industry changes and developments and offers a range of continued professional development services including yearly face-to-face training, virtual courses, webinars and events.

Now, according to BPP’s Caroline Patterson (Head of Training Solutions - Professional Development), franchisees will also be able to access bespoke BPP-run courses “across a variety of tax topics” including “Accounting and Financial Analysis, Business Advisory Skills” and more.

In the words of Samantha Skyring, TaxAssist’s Group Training and Communications Manager, “BPP are market leaders in professional education, and due to the size of the TaxAssist network, we have been able to forge this very valuable relationship. We now have over 200 franchisees and 700 staff members and I wanted to provide a range of new bespoke courses, which are particularly relevant to our network as we head into [post-COVID] economic recovery.”

Samantha explained that the primary purpose of the BPP course range was “to enable franchisees to be more comfortable giving advice to their clients, rather than simply providing mechanical accounting services”. According to Samantha, “[the courses] will help franchisees and their teams to analyse their clients’ financial statements to identify trends, risks and opportunities and to recommend appropriate action”, helping franchisees to become “a ‘trusted advisor’ to clients” and “increasing their loyalty”.

If investing with this supportive network that provides franchisees with plenty of training and assistance appeals, you can become a TaxAssist Accountants franchisee for a minimum initial investment of £39,950.
