Schmidt franchisees is with renewed vigor after pandemic!
Upon exiting the pandemic lockdowns, franchise Schmidt is booming as the franchise sector of kitchens, bathrooms, and home interiors with orders, enquiries, order values, turnover and web traffic are all substantially up.
The successful franchise, Schmidt, designing, producing, and distributing innovative products and services playing a significant part in home improvement since 1959, is enjoying renewed sales vigour after the Covid-19 pandemic.
Namely, customer requests for quotes are up by 66 per cent, assessing price. And with two-thirds of those quotes resulting in sales.
In fact, the average order value is up 25 per cent! Generally, Schmidt is a franchise in impressive growth.
As Jean-Michel Peragine, Head of Expansion for Schmidt UK says, "[w]e’re really pleased to see the success our network is having,” continuing with, “[a]ll our UK showrooms were in lockdown only a year ago, so it’s reassuring that retail turnover has bounced back and is up 111%, while traffic to our website is up 19%."
Jean-Michel says the shift in consumer spending has paid off for the brand and its franchisees. “Our franchisees kept in touch with their customers throughout the lockdowns, encouraging them to stay connected with the Schmidt brand, and that’s paying off now as the orders come in.”
Schmidt is one of the best choices within the kitchen franchise opportunities, as they experienced record sales figures during the pandemic, owing to this continually contact and support during the lockdowns.
The reason for the revived expenditure from Brits is that isolation requires fewer expenses, i.e., recreational and petrol spending, to just name a few. Jean-Michel reflects, “[a] lot of people found themselves with unexpected savings after the lockdowns as they couldn’t go on holiday, didn’t change their cars, and saved on eating out and entertainment."
“So many of them decided to invest in a new kitchen, bathroom, bedroom or study, and found our bespoke designs, custom-built solutions and new ranges were just what they were looking for." Continuing, “[a]s the pandemic begins to recede, this is a great time to become a franchisee with this long-established interiors company.”
Schmidt enjoyed an impressive first quarter of 2022, with four new showrooms open and more in the pipeline later this year and beyond.
“We’re seeing strong interest. We’ve got a great brand, more than 60 years of heritage, and products that customers love,” says Jean-Michel.
All that is needed to join Schmidt, getting in on this outstanding growth journey against all odds, is a minimum investment of £100,000 and a total of £420,000. An opportunity “[t]hat all adds up to a very attractive proposition for entrepreneurs looking to enter a buoyant and still-growing market, as our figures show.”
