It looks like the TaxAssist Accountants Dunstable franchise has changed leadership, adding renewed energy and experience to the bookkeeping and accounting sector. While Dave Masterson has held the financial wheel for 12 years, he’s cashing in on his investment. Umer Farooq has taken over running the business from him, while Dave remains to provide support for a month or two.
Umer isn’t a stranger to the TaxAssist Accountants enterprise. Operating in a neighbouring area, he’s been managing his own franchise for about five years now. With ready experience at hand, he’s ready to expand his business and take on new challenges. Fortunately, he already has teams in place, with Dave staying on until the handover is complete.
Here is what former owner Dave has to say about handing over the franchise:
“I’ve really enjoyed running my own practice and the role I’ve played in helping many businesses in the local area and the relationships that I’ve built up. I’m now happy to be handing over to Umer, who is an experienced accountant and has himself been with TaxAssist Accountants since 2017, so my clients are in good hands. My thanks go to my staff and the TaxAssist team for their help and support over the years.”
Umer is incredibly pleased with having purchased Dave’s franchise. He’s excited about the new opportunities it brings, especially after his own success in Luton.
