Brokerplan has shared some of its most exciting client case studies, proving the business model’s viability even in the toughest of times.
The property and finance sectors haven’t escaped the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, but finance franchise Brokerplan’s skilled network of franchisees and brokers have managed to handle some impressive cases nonetheless.
Its first case study looked at a Scottish Development company that was looking to secure a loan of more than £580,000. The experienced property developers behind it were looking to refinance two luxury apartments in their Panmure Hotel, Monifieth redevelopment project. As part of the deal, they were also able to finance the purchase of a buy-to-let property, despite a lack of experience in this area.
The process of securing the finance was complex from a legal point of view, but it was completed in a speedy 10 week timeframe. This case generated £8,767 in income, including a 1% broker fee, and the client is now looking to work with Brokerplan to acquire additional properties.
Another particularly successful case was wrapped up in Watford. A higher-rate tax paying client was looking to purchase his first buy-to-let property as a limited company. This would keep the transaction as tax efficient as possible and allow them to enjoy more of the income. In just over two months, a broker was able to find a mortgage and complete the process, netting a healthy income in the process.
It’s clear that, even with the challenging conditions of the last few months, Brokerplan is still able to help clients across the country secure the right financial solutions for their unique situations.
