Walfinch Opens Northern Office to Support Franchise Growth

The new site is already operational, with five members of the marketing team now based there. The move means northern franchisees no longer need to travel to the company’s National Support Office in Oxfordshire for meetings or training — a welcome change that will save time and improve productivity.

Walfinch is expanding, and the new office bolsters representation and support for our franchisee branch managing directors in northern areas, said Founder and CEO Amrit Dhaliwal. More easily-accessible support will help them grow their businesses more efficiently, which in turn will bring more high-quality care services to our clients.

Time to Thrive: A New Standard in Home Care

One of the driving forces behind Walfinch’s national expansion is its Time To Thrive approach — a care model that goes beyond basic support to help clients lead more fulfilling lives.

Under this initiative, clients receiving an hour or more of care are also offered at least ten minutes of a chosen activity, such as gardening, walking the dog or crafting. In addition, each Walfinch branch runs a local Thrive Club, offering free community activities like chair yoga, gentle exercise and arts and crafts.

“Our Time To Thrive initiatives are bringing in many new clients, which is one of the drivers of our expansion across the country,” said Amrit.

The programme doesn’t just benefit clients — it’s also proving attractive to franchisees who want to combine financial success with a meaningful contribution to their community.

A Growth-Minded Franchise with Purpose

With over 30 franchisee-run branches across the UK and more in the pipeline, Walfinch is continuing to scale. The new Altrincham office signals the brand’s commitment to building strong regional foundations to support its ambitious nationwide growth plans.
