The Early Years Company (TEYC) is dedicated to raising standards across the early years sector by equipping nurseries with high-quality training, coaching, and CPD. Founder Kelly Hill explains how the franchise model empowers professionals to run their own businesses while making a real difference in their communities.
What inspired you to launch The Early Years Company?
Our mission is simple: raise standards in early years by giving nurseries access to high-quality training, coaching, and CPD. Franchisees can build their own businesses while making a real impact in their communities.
How do you support franchisees in building successful businesses?
We provide a 12-week onboarding programme, full sales and marketing support, access to proven resources, and a peer-to-peer network. Franchisees benefit from a respected brand already working with over 5,000 nurseries nationwide.
What makes your model stand out?
Unlike childcare franchises, we don’t tie people to premises or long hours. Our model offers flexibility, multiple revenue streams, and continuous professional development. Franchisees run respected businesses with real work-life balance.
How do you ensure quality across the network?
Every franchisee follows our operations manual, uses centralised training materials, and is supported with quality assurance checks. We also provide ongoing CPD and mentoring to keep standards high.
What innovations are shaping your growth?
We’re launching a digital learning platform, rolling out new programmes on leadership and resilience, and integrating HubSpot to streamline sales and CRM. These tools keep our network modern and competitive.
What are your plans for expansion?
We aim to grow strategically across the UK, then expand internationally, starting with the UAE in 2025. Our vision is to become the leading training provider for early years professionals worldwide.
Shaping the Future of Early Years Together
Looking ahead, TEYC is investing heavily in innovation. Its new digital learning platform will expand access to on-demand CPD, while new modules on leadership and workforce retention address the sector’s most pressing challenges. HubSpot integration also helps franchisees manage leads and clients more effectively.
The growth plan is ambitious but strategic. TEYC will continue to expand in the UK before moving into international markets, with the UAE earmarked for 2025 master franchise opportunities.
For professionals who want to combine their expertise with entrepreneurial freedom, TEYC offers the chance to make a difference: locally, nationally, and soon, globally.
