Spring growth for Driver Hire’s national network

Leading recruitment franchisor, Driver Hire, is on the expansion trail in 2026. Four more of the road transport specialist’s branches have embraced new digital tools, to extend their reach to more customers within their franchise territories.

Manchester South now also covers Sale; Plymouth has added the Truro area, Kingston now includes Chertsey and Bournemouth is serving more customers in Salisbury.

Driver Hire has built up an award-winning nationwide network of over 100 offices since starting up in 1983. Franchisees supply drivers and other logistics staff to their local clients, either for short-term cover or permanent roles.

Commenting on the expansion, Graham Duckworth, Driver Hire’s Franchise Sales Director said: “Our proven business model marches on. Our continued investment in technology is enabling many of our offices to cover new areas without necessarily having a physical presence there. It’s allowing them to develop new business in the area, recruit more drivers and increase turnover and profit.”
