Driver Hire hits all-time record trading
Driver Hire, the leading specialist transport & logistics recruitment franchise, has just achieved its highest ever single-week turnover in over 40 years of trading.

In total, Driver Hire turnover in the UK is more than 7% up year-to-date. This milestone comes after Driver Hire celebrated an all-time record trading year in 2025/26.
Meanwhile, Driver Hire’s business in Australia is also enjoying outstanding trading, with turnover in the same single week almost 43% up on the same time last year.
Back in the UK, another landmark was reached, with the Aberdeen branch recording the best ever weekly turnover for a single Driver Hire office. A further six offices across the UK set new records for their own area.
Commenting on Driver Hire’s ongoing business success story, Chief Executive, Chris Chidley commented, “We’ve had a fantastic start to the year. It’s a further endorsement of a brand built over more than 42 years and of a franchise model that has combined strong local ownership with national scale and support. And, of course, this achievement doesn’t come without an awful lot of hard work by our franchisees and staff both here and in Australia.”
