Celebrations are in the air for Heritage Healthcare as it picks up a win at the South Wales Prestige Awards.
Home-care franchise Heritage Healthcare is celebrating the success of its Cardiff branch at the 2020 Cardiff and South Wales Prestige Awards. The branch was crowned Homecare Services Employer of the Year, an accolade that honours the valuable work that Healthcare Heritage has been carrying out in the Welsh community since 2014.
Managing Director Jameela Kotawala was the first franchisee to join the Heritage Healthcare network and when finding out about the win said, “It has been amazing to win this award.” She went on to explain how the care team at Heritage Healthcare Cardiff “work incredibly hard to support clients and help them feel safe at home during this worrying time [COVID-19 pandemic].”

This is not the first time the family-run healthcare organisation has been awarded for its outstanding work in Cardiff. The care team also won The Care Employer Award for Wales at last year’s Great British Care Awards and achieved 100% in most areas of its Care Inspectorate Wales and Cardiff City Council inspections.

For Jameela, the success of the Cardiff branch has driven her to expand the business to a second location. With an office now in Swansea, Jameela is the first franchisee of Heritage Healthcare to operate across multiple territories.
