The home care franchise was recently delighted to celebrate the success of its branch in the Welsh capital, and of Jenna Long (the named winner) in particular.
The exciting news about the award win was shared over on the Heritage Healthcare blog. In the words of the supportive home care franchise network, “Heritage Healthcare Cardiff’s Jenna Long has been named the winner of the Best Care Manager Regional Award at the Great British Care Awards.” This win came off the back of the branch making three different shortlists, and everyone in the network is thrilled to be celebrating Jenna and seeing her accomplishments recognised.
As Heritage Healthcare detailed, “On Friday 4th February 2022, Jameela Kotawala, Jenna Long and Juliet McInerney attended the award ceremony, hosted at Hilton Cardiff. Owner and Managing Director, Jameela Kotawala had been shortlisted for the Best Employer award, whilst the Cardiff Care Manager, Jenna Long, was named a finalist for the Best Care Manager category. Care Assistant, Gareth Watts, had also been shortlisted for Best Care Worker.”
It was a wonderful night for Heritage Healthcare, and an honour for Jenna to be recognised by the Great British Care Awards, which is a series of ten regional awards celebrating companies and individuals who excel in the care industry. Heritage Healthcare said of the awards’ purpose that they were designed to “promote best practices within both home care and care homes sectors and pay tribute to those individuals who have demonstrated outstanding excellence within their field of work”.
It’s no surprise that the Cardiff branch won, having previously taken home the Care Employer award in 2019. Heritage Healthcare added, “Starting with the Cardiff office, Jameela Kotawala has continued to run an award-winning home care service.
