The franchise owner of Promedica24 West Sussex has celebrated his second year in business at The Glamour Club.
The social club in Worthing helped Chris White-Smith commemorate his second anniversary as a Promedica24 franchise owner.
He started the business three years ago when he noticed the lack of high-quality home care service providers for his parents. Keen for a new career challenge and impressed with what Promedica24 could offer, he started putting his plans for a West Sussex franchise into motion.
White-Smith often volunteers at The Glamour Club and was delighted to be able to celebrate the anniversary with guests at the Christmas party at St Stephens Café Church in Broadwater. The Glamour Club is a community club for the over-55s that runs on a Saturday and aims to fight loneliness in older people.
Like many relatives of loved ones, White-Smith knew that his parents didn’t want to move into a care home but also needed 24/7 care.
"My parents are in their mid-80s and they wouldn’t want to move into a care home. Hourly care visits are good but what if they needed around-the-clock care?"
White-Smith concluded:
