After a soft late April launch in Bury St Edmunds, franchisee David Hasler has now completed his first independent job, kicking off his career with the pest control company.

PGH Beegone was founded in December 2020. It incorporated two established brands, PGH Pest Prevention and Beegone Live Bee Removal, which were formed in 2008, supported by the Prince’s Trust. The pest control franchise is really pleased to welcome David to the team.

Peter Higgs, Founder and MD of PGH Beegone, said, “I’m elated that people are seeing the value in our proposition including the untapped industry potential and can’t wait to get David fully established in his market, earning at capacity and serving the community, he’s a great guy who is a valued franchisee.”

David is equally excited to begin his journey as a franchisee, saying, “The approach of the whole team at PGH Beegone has been extremely professional and supportive, they made me feel comfortable straight away and I know this is a fantastic opportunity.”

He explained, “Before I even joined, franchise owner Peter Higgs specifically arranged for me to shadow him at two live bee removal surveys, instead of sending his surveyor, so he could show me how it worked. I also attended an actual live bee removal job which came up in my area just before I inquired about the franchise, for which Peter gave me a discount on my franchise fees.”

David’s first job, for an Aldham client, was a three stage operation of rodent treatment, rodent proofing and clearance and replacement of contaminated loft insulation. He also has some follow up leads, including a removal at a university in Cambridge. To join David as a PGH Beegone franchisee, you’ll need to make a minimum investment of £27,000.
