An industry veteran, Grant Bolger, becomes a Mr. Electric franchisee after three decades of corporate life.

A Wakefield-based electrician has jumped ship from life as an employee to become his own boss with Mr. Electric. Grant Bolger was fed up with working for other power and utilities companies and wanted a fresh career change that put him in the driving seat.

Bolger has recently started a new journey becoming the franchise owner of Mr. Electric Wakefield. He didnt want the stress of opening a new business from scratch and wanted to be a part of a brand with a reputation for top-notch service. Having joined up with a company that fit the bill, Bolger started trading as a Mr. Electic franchisee on April 1st.

Bolger knew that Mr. Electric was tailor-made for his aspirations as an entrepreneur: I have been aspiring to start up my own business again for a number of years and knew I had the experience, commitment and enthusiasm to make it work. Mr. Electric gave me the opportunity to go into business delivering a service that I am passionate about.

Having run my own business previously, I am not daunted by the challenges that lie ahead and am looking forward to getting stuck in and being a key player in our community. I am very excited to be the new franchise owner of Mr. Electric Wakefield.

Mr. Electric is the UKs leading electrical franchise. Having generated turnovers of over $3 million in the US, this is a brand with a proven track record of success. With 3,700 different franchise partners already operating worldwide, Mr. Electric is currently looking for new franchise partners here in the UK. Those that take the plunge will enjoy the benefits of joining an electrical franchise that is a government-approved installer of electrical vehicle charging units.
