Kumon’s newest study centre in the town of Banbury has opened for business.
Kumon has opened its newest study centre in the town of Banbury just in time for the new autumn term. The new branch of the education franchise had a temporary home at the Banbury Museum from the 30th of August but moves into its new home today, next to Marks and Spencer’s in the Castle Quay Shopping Centre.
For the whole month of September, Kumon is offering one week’s free trial to new students who visit the Banbury study centre, so they can discover how fantastic its services are without paying a penny. Those who feel that Kumon will be able to help them over the course of the upcoming academic year will then be able to sign up to attend regular sessions in English or Maths, or both.
Kumon offers a full assessment to all of its learners before they begin their tutoring programme. Each student will be analysed to understand how they learn and which level their ability is currently at, ensuring that Kumon’s sessions are effective and enjoyable for each student. This also ensures that everyone can get the most out of the sessions, as they won’t be pushed too hard or left unstimulated by material that isn’t challenging enough for them.

Since it was founded in 1958 by teacher Toru Kumon, the education franchise has gone on to help thousands of children all across the globe with their learning.
