A roadshow to show mums how to feed babies proper food will get an extra helping hand from Gymboree Play & Music.
Mums and dads around the UK are being treated to a helpful event that teaches them how best to transition their babies from milk to proper food this summer. Run by Piccolo, the roadshow event offers tips and tricks to help parents give their babies nutritious food that will encourage them to eat well for the rest of their lives.
As an extra treat at the end, Gymboree Play & Music will host a food-themed family play session. Named ‘Yummy in my Tummy’, it will give the mums, dads and little ones the chance to play together. Parents can then ask any questions about what has been discussed and how best they can prepare their children for a life of healthy eating.
During the morning, parents will learn more about what’s on offer at the fruit and vegetable aisles. They’ll also find out the fact from the fiction in terms of weaning, and discover a number of handy, nutritious recipes that babies and tots love. Ending on the final play session makes it a treat for the little ones too.
The partnership between Piccolo and Gymboree Play & Music provides the opportunity for parents to learn more about the relationship between nutritious food and play for children. Both are vital for development and make a huge difference to a child’s happiness and ability to learn.

Gymboree Play & Learn offers classes for children up until they are five years old. These classes help children to learn how to play, share and socialise before going to school.
