For Junaid Shan, business has always been in the blood. Growing up in Newcastle’s West End, he spent his teenage years helping in his family’s garage, managing rental properties, and supporting the day-to-day running of their taxi firm.

That early experience sparked something bigger, a strong work ethic and a clear ambition to be his own boss.

In 2022, the same year he completed his degree in accountancy, Junaid took a bold step. He became the youngest franchise partner at Concept Claim Solutions, a property claims management franchise that supports clients dealing with damage from floods, fires, storms, and subsidence.

Junaid was drawn to franchising for its structure and support, something he felt was vital as a first-time business owner.

He’s also a passionate supporter of Ivison Trust, a UK charity that assists children and families affected by crime and sexual exploitation.
