We’ve asked their UK Expansion Team a few questions :
What kind of training and support do franchisees receive?
At I’M HUNGRY, we take a “partner-first” approach. Every franchisee receives full, hands-on support: before, during, and after their restaurant launch.
Our comprehensive training programme begins at our Jeddah headquarters, where franchisees learn everything from food preparation and operations to leadership, finance, and customer service. We combine classroom learning with real-world experience, ensuring every partner feels confident on opening day.
Support continues beyond launch. We provide assistance with site selection, design, recruitment, and marketing. Ongoing mentoring, regular audits, and performance reviews help franchisees stay on track, while refresher courses keep their teams performing at the highest standards.
How do you help franchisees maintain profitability over time?
Profitability isn’t just a goal; it’s built into our model. We focus on efficiency, smart menu engineering, and data-driven decisions to maximise every store’s performance.
Franchisees have access to real-time analytics via our POS and CRM systems, allowing them to monitor sales, track trends, and manage costs. Our central team provides one-on-one business consultations and benchmarking reports to identify opportunities for improvement.
For those with growth ambitions, our Area Developer model offers the chance to manage sub-franchisees and generate additional income through fees and royalties. Combined with national marketing campaigns and operational mentoring, this approach allows partners to scale both their business and profitability year after year.
How is I’M HUNGRY staying ahead through innovation?
Innovation drives everything we do, from our kitchen to our technology. We’ve introduced fully integrated POS systems with built-in loyalty programmes, real-time dashboards, and seamless online delivery integration. Our CRM tools simplify customer management, helping franchisees increase retention and engagement.
The menu continues to evolve, offering fresh, healthier options that meet changing consumer preferences, from chicken and salads to wraps and breakfasts. We also lead on sustainability, with eco-friendly packaging, locally sourced produce, and greener restaurant designs.
Digital marketing is another focus area. We’ve expanded into national and local online campaigns, with strong social media engagement and QR code promotions that connect instantly with customers.
What are your plans for growth and global expansion?
After rapid success in Saudi Arabia and the Middle East, with 31 signed units and 15 operational, we’re now expanding into the UK through our Area Developer Franchise model. This structure gives investors exclusive territorial rights and the potential to oversee nationwide operations.
Three flexible store formats (dine-in, drive-thru, and delivery-only) make it easy to adapt to any market. We’re also working with UK Franchise Consultants to ensure our British rollout reflects local insights and high operational standards.
Beyond the UK, our roadmap includes expansion into Europe, North America, and beyond through master franchise partnerships. Our ambition is clear: to make I’M HUNGRY a globally recognised leader in the next generation of fresh, fast dining.
